These homemade apple chips are delicious, healthy, and really easy to make. I started making these when visiting my sister and her family recently. My nephew has dietary restrictions due to food allergies so I thought this would be a new snack he would enjoy. He loved them and so did everyone else. The only ingredients are apples and cinnamon. Ingredients: 3-4 Apples Cinnamon Parchment Paper Directions: 1. Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees F. 2. Peel, core, and thinly slice apples into rings. A mandolin or sharp knife works well. 3. Place apples in a single layer on two parchment lined cookie sheets. 4. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
5. Bake for 1 hour. Turn apples and sprinkle other side with cinnamon. Return to oven and bake until crispy for another 1 to 1 3/4 hours. I just leave them in until they are crispy. Store in an airtight container.

Thank you for this post! I found a way to really up the game on dehydrated apples: I purchased a tiny bag of organic maple sugar and sprinkle a bit on my slices of apple then dehydrate. So yummy.
