I recently hosted a meet-up for a parents group of which I am a member. I called the meet-up "What's for Dinner?". I made Stromboli and showed the other parents how to make it. I guess you could call it a mini cooking class. It was really relaxed and fun. We ate Stromboli, shared recipes and stories, and enjoyed some adult conversation (highly coveted when you hang out with toddlers all day). Guests brought homemade apple crisp and ice cream so we indulged in some sweet treats too.
We had so much fun that I am busy planning the next cooking meet-up. I think that next month it might be "What's for Dessert?" If you are looking for something fun to do with your adult friends, this was a blast and a great way to share your favorite recipes.
