To be honest, we don't drink much soda anymore. But, I remember the days when I was teaching and had to have a diet soda everyday at lunch. I was kind of hooked on it. When I gave it up for lent one year, it was really hard for the first week or two. I craved it and even had headaches. After a couple of weeks, I didn't miss it. In fact when Easter came and I could drink my favorite diet soda again, I didn't crave it anymore. I didn't cut it completely out of my diet, but I drank a lot less of it.
I didn't realize at the time that I was consuming so much unhealthy stuff in that diet soda. When I quit drinking so much of it and eventually quit diet all together to avoid the chemicals in diet soda, I dropped two pant sizes. I went from a size 8 to a size 4. The only change I made in my diet and exercise routine was that I quit drinking diet soda. Three kids and ten years later, I am no longer a size 4, but I have stayed at a size 6. We don't drink a lot of soda in our house, but we do enjoy it on occasion. We order pizza at least once a month, sometimes twice a month and we always have pop with our pizza. This is pretty much the only time the boys have pop so it is a really big deal.
The boys really enjoyed trying all the flavors of Veri organic soda. We sampled ginger ale, cola, orange, and lemon lime. Honestly we like them all, but everyone has their favorite. Mine is ginger ale, although I would love to see a root beer flavor.
About the flavors
I love that Veri Soda is only 60 calories a can and has no artificial ingredients unlike diet soda.
• Veri Soda uses only the best quality organic, non-GMO ingredients in their line of USDA NOP-certified organic soda.
We love beer bread. It is rich, buttery, and delicious. I decided to make some beer bread sans the beer and added a can of Veri organic lemon lime soda. It was fantastic. It was moist and full of flavor. It was not overly sweet and actually tasted much like regular beer bread, but with a slightly softer texture which we really enjoyed.

I haven't tried Veri soda. I really want to try the ginger ale! It's like the most impossible soda to find without hfcs, that still tastes good! I really want to try all of them.. but it's easy to find organic colas. :)

I really love their cola -- it has a really distinctive cola flavor without all the calories. Makes a great froyo float, too!
