Here is a look at our week. We are busy with activities a couple of nights a week so I have been relying on simple meals. I've also had a cold. You really don't feel like cooking when you have a cold. I finally went to the doctor and should be on the mend. Chicken soup anyone? Sunday: Homemade chicken noodle soup
Monday: Rice, Steamed broccoli, Teriyaki chicken (This was a new to me slow cooker recipe. It was good, but on the dry side and might be much better as a stir-fry.) Tuesday: Pizza Delivery (Papa John's has $7 pizza deals on the first Tuesday of each month and it is the boys' favorite) Wednesday: Taco bar Thursday: Potatoes, Ham, and Green Beans (a big easy one pot meal) Friday: Salad, Calzones made with leftover taco meat, sauteed peppers and mushrooms, cheese. I lightly seasoned a small can of tomato sauce instead of using pizza sauce. I baked them in the oven instead of grilling. My husband loved them. He said they reminded him of Philly cheesesteaks. I baked like you would a pizza at 450 F for 12-15 minutes flipping them over halfway. Pretty easy. Saturday: Bread Machine Buttery Rolls, Honey Corn Pudding, Bacon wrapped Sliders Linking up at Do Tell Tuesday, Friendship Friday, Create with Joy, Lou Lou Girls
