Disclosure: We received a Magna Color for review. All opinions are honest and are my own.
My boys were so excited to receive a Magna Color. It is a fun magnetic art toy which provides an outlet for your child's creativity in an easy to transport, mess free form. Magna Color is perfect for road trips, waiting rooms, or any time you need to keep your child occupied.
Magna Color is a specially designed magnetic drawing studio with a screen sweeper that impressed industry guru Dr. Toy who named it one of her Top 10 Creative Toys for 2012. The new 2013 model builds on the success of the first model by allowing kids to place their artistic creations under the sea! Kids use Magna Color pens to draw along the Magic App stencils. Parents download the free Magna Color App onto their iPad. Together they "launch" the colorful marine designs and watch in delight as fish jump off the screen. It's like having your own Magna Color aquarium!
You can hear the boys' excitement as they play with the Magna Color App on the iPad in the second video below.
My 4 and 6 year olds really enjoyed playing with their new Magna Color. My 2 year old, however, wasn't quite ready for it yet.
The Magna Color is easy to use. You lift up the top to change the Magic App stencils. The special pens are stored in the side and easily pop out when needed.
When you are finished creating, you use the screen sweeper (in the video below) to clear the screen and push the colored discs into the shoot on the back. You then shake the Magna Color to let the colored discs fall down through the sorter and into their corresponding pens.
The video above shows the boys using their new Magna Color.
In this video you can see how the Magna Color iPad App works with the Magna Color to create an exciting aquarium experience. The app works with 2nd generation (and above) iPads only.
You can win a Magna Color! Simply use the rafflecopter form below. US only.
