Sweet and savory, enjoy honey corn pudding with your best BBQ or burgers for a delicious and easy side.
5 large eggs
1/2 cup half/half
1/3 cup (5 1/3 T.) butter, melted
1 T. turbinado or granulated sugar
2 T. dark brown sugar
2 T. Honey
1 T. orange juice
1/4 C. cornstarch
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Dash onion powder
1/4 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. fresh ground pepper
2 (15.25 oz.) cans whole kernel corn, drained
2 (14.75 oz.) cans cream-style corn
1. In a large bowl, lightly beat eggs then add 1/2 & 1/2. Stir in the remaining ingredients, adding the corn last. Blend well.
2. Pour mixture into a buttered 2 quart casserole dish. Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for one hour or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes. Serve warm.
