Sweet and savory, enjoy honey corn pudding with your best BBQ or burgers for a delicious and easy side. 5 large eggs
1/2 cup half/half 1/3 cup (5 1/3 T.) butter, melted 1 T. turbinado or granulated sugar 2 T. dark brown sugar 2 T. Honey 1 T. orange juice 1/4 C. cornstarch 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg Dash onion powder 1/4 tsp. sea salt 1/4 tsp. fresh ground pepper 2 (15.25 oz.) cans whole kernel corn, drained 2 (14.75 oz.) cans cream-style corn 1. In a large bowl, lightly beat eggs then add 1/2 & 1/2. Stir in the remaining ingredients, adding the corn last. Blend well. 2. Pour mixture into a buttered 2 quart casserole dish. Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for one hour or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes. Serve warm. Adapted from Tennessee Honey Corn Pudding Linking up at Create with Joy
