I received products for review, but all opinions are honest and are my own.
You may not know this about me or maybe you do, but I drink tea everyday all day. During these cold months, I have a warm cup of tea with me first thing in the morning until I go to sleep at night. I am not a coffee drinker, but I am a serious tea drinker, even taking it with me in an insulated mug when I run errands because I really really LOVE tea.
The velvety smooth flavor and warming feeling with the subtle sweetness of honey is all I need. I rarely drink soda or anything else for that matter (other than water of course), but tea is a necessity. It is my comfort, my warmth, and quite possibly my addiction. Since I have such an affection for tea, I was happy to try Adagio gourmet tea.
I have always wanted a tea chest and I wanted to try several different flavors so I decided to try the gourmet set.
I ventured away from my usual standard of English breakfast or Irish breakfast and tried some lighter varieties. Adagio carries gorgeous loose leaf teas, but I prefer the ease of bagged tea so this set was perfect for me. The gourmet set is a collection of 30 flavored teas, including Citron Green, Earl Grey, Peach Oolong, White Blueberry, Rooibos Vanilla and Peppermint. These were all delicious..pure and clean in flavor, but my favorites were Earl Grey and surprisingly peppermint. I don't usually go for peppermint tea, but this one was a step above any peppermint tea I have tried. The citron green, blueberry white and peach oolong while milder in flavor were deliciously aromatic. The vanilla was too. It was like smelling freshly cut vanilla beans.
This gourmet tea chest is perfect for adventurous tea lovers who love to try different flavors. The chest is specifically designed to hold Adagio tea bags. Other tea bags are typically smaller, and will fit differently, but you can still put them in the chest.
This tea chest is not only beautiful, but very sturdy. I love how nice it looks on my counter and it is such a lovely way to offer tea to guests.
Are you a tea lover too? What is your favorite flavor?
