I can't believe it took me 6 six years of raising boys to think of combining dinosaurs and play-dough. My two year old and I made a fresh batch of play-dough a couple of mornings ago while big brothers were at school. Homemade play-dough is the best. I like it better than store bought and you get a big batch with plenty to share. The boys have been enjoying their play-dough creating for several days. It amazes me how entertained they are, which is nice since it's so cold outside. The boys are huge dinosaur enthusiasts. They watch dinosaur documentaries, play prehistoric park, draw dinosaurs, read dinosaur books. You get the idea. Dinosaurs are part of our everyday lives which is why I can't believe it took me so long to think of combining play-dough and dinosaurs. There are so many fun things you can do with dinosaurs and play-dough. You can make great impressions like this cool footprint. The spikes and plates on their backs make neat impressions too. You can even bury dinosaur skeletons in play-dough and have a fossil dig. We had a fun dinosaur dig birthday party last fall. This would be fun for a winter indoor dinosaur dig birthday party. You would have to make a lot of play-dough though. The skeletons make great fossil imprints. I love watching their imaginations at work. My son is crafting a meteor. Look out dinosaurs!
