Make sure to check your mailbox for this coupon flyer. There are actually two coupons in it. One of them saves $10 off a $10 purchase through November 11th. There are some restrictions in the fine print, but makes for a good deal when you don't really have to spend any money. I made sure to take advantage of this deal. Here is a look at what I bought.
I actually went to the counter to check out with just 2 pairs of sunglasses and the pink blouse thinking I had at least $10 of merchandise only to find out that the children's sunglasses were not $5.99 as marked but were $0.97. Since I didn't have $10 in merchandise, we grabbed a child's shirt that will go in my gift bin and a second pair of child's sunglasses to get us over the $10 requirement. My three year old recently broke his sunglasses which he wears frequently so he claimed a new pair right away which is not pictured.
Here is a breakdown of my super cheap shopping spree:
Pink blouse, so excited to wear this blouse next Spring. I never buy anything this fun, usually knit tops and t-shirts.
Original price = $30.00
After clearance and $10 coupon I paid $0.48
Original price = $10.00 each
After clearance and $10 coupon I paid $0.16 each (2 pair = $0.32)
Liz Claiborne Sunglasses, I LOVE sunglasses. I wear them year round when driving and thought these were just adorable.
Original price = $32
After clearance and $10 coupon I paid $0.80
Original price = $12
After clearance and $10 coupon I paid $0.31
After taxes, my total was $2.08 for 2 shirts and 3 pairs of sunglasses!
Linking up at Friendship Friday.
