I have reviewed Peeled Snacks before and we love them. I jumped at the opportunity to review them again and host another giveaway because they are so good and good for you too. My boys love them all.
We have tried:
pine-4-Pineapple, much-ado-about-Mango, Banan-a-peel, Apricot-a-lot, Cherry-go-round & Apple-2-the-core
They are all delicious and nutritious. I love that the only ingredient is organic fruit. My preschooler and I love pine-4-Pineapple. My husband said if he had to pick a favorite it would be pineapple too. It's flavor is so close to fresh pineapple.
As a mother of three small children, I look for portable snacks that are healthy and that my children will enjoy. These are perfect. You can stash some in your purse or diaper bag for that much needed snack when out and about.
Peeled Snacks are now available in Starbucks throughout the US and Canada.

Zulily is having a kid's shoe sale until 3/13th. Up to 65% off. Lots of great summer styles. Many different vendors. My oldest loves Spiderman and had to have these Polliwalks Spiderman Clogs. I also ordered a pair of Osh Kosh Trail Sandals for him.
I was really glad to find these deals since our Stride Rite outlet store just closed. We went to get new shoes the other night and found out the store had closed. Luckily we had other shopping to do since we had driven 30 minutes to get there. Check out these great deals at Zulily.

"If I should have a daughter, instead of Mom, she's gonna call me Point B. So that way she knows that whatever happens, at least she can always find her way to me." -Sarah Kay, "B"
I was sent a copy of "B" for review. "B" is a poem from mother to daughter. "It's a thank you note, love letter, wish, promise, confession, and a secret all at once."
"B" has a beautiful message and is a perfect gift for a daughter, son, mother, or father. If I ever have a daughter, I will give her this book when she leaves the nest. I may even give a copy to each of my sons. I will read this to them from time to time when they are older.
I did try to read this book to my preschooler and toddler and found out very quickly that it is not for children. As beautiful and touching as it is, it does not hold a four year old's attention. I think it is perfect for a teenager or young adult.
You can watch Sarah Kay present "B" in this video. She delivered a compelling performance of "B" at the 2011 TED Conference.
"B" is available for purchase on Amazon. It is currently just $6 for the beautiful hardcover edition. You can also purchase it for Kindle.
You can win a copy here. Follow this link to the rafflecopter form to enter.
Disclosure: I was not compensated for writing this post. I was provided a copy of "B" for review and for a giveaway.
My husband took a study break today and said he wanted a Starbuck's Frappuccino, but he didn't want to spend the time and money to go and get one. So I got out the blender and we came up with our own recipe. It was so easy to make and took less than 5 minutes. We are not big coffee drinkers. In fact I don't even like coffee icecream because it tastes too much like coffee, but this was really good. I used Taster's Choice instant coffee stick packets that I had gotten as free samples. I used one per recipe, but if you are a big coffee fan you might like to use two. We used Hazelnut and Vanilla flavors. I also used french vanilla hot cocoa mix. This recipe is an inexpensive and quick way to make a delicious luxury drink at home.
1 Taster's Choice stick packet instant coffee (flavor of choice)
1 Tbsp. water
2 cups ice
2 - 3 Tbsp. sugar
1 cup half and half
1 packet hot cocoa mix
1. Dissolve instant coffee in 1 T. water.
2. Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
3. Pour into glasses and serve with whipped cream and chocolate syrup if desired.
It was hard to find the time to work on this project this week with three little boys, but I managed to make some progress. This is my weekend donation haul. I also sold a couple of things on ebay bringing in over $30 for things we don't need or want anymore. If you are taking part in the challenge, keep me updated.
Coupons.com has Pampers diapers and wipes printable coupons. I was able to print these twice. There are lots of great grocery coupons too.
