I received several items for review from Vitacost. Vitacost is an online retailer that sells many name brands and their own Vitacost brand of vitamins, supplements, health foods and whole foods.
I chose to review products that I either already love or have wanted to try. I have been using Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Sucanat in all of my homemade breads and rolls in place of brown sugar. We love the flavor. It adds a hint of molassis flavor that is just lovely in homemade breads.
We love maple syrup and were excited to try Shady Maple Farms Organic Maple Syrup. We tried this syrup on homemade waffles and enjoyed its rich flavor. It has a stronger flavor than most other maple syrups we have tried. A nice feature is the no drip spout.
I have been wanting to try coconut butter for a while so I decided to review Artisana Organic Coconut Butter. The flavor reminded me of coconut oil with a more dense texture. I tried it on homemade bread alone, but preferred it layered with nutella. I can't wait to try it in some new recipes.
The kids enjoyed trying Annie's Organic Bunny Fruit Snacks. I tried them too and have to admit they are the best fruit snacks I have ever had. The flavor and texture is exactly what a fruit snack should be. My 3 year old said they were "super yummy".
You can feel safe when ordering from Vitacost that your order will arrive in good condition. They take extra care to ensure that fragile items are carefully wrapped and secure.
Sign up for Vitacost emails to get the latest sales sent to your inbox. Their prices are already competitive and they always have additional sales. If you order $49 of products you qualify for free shipping. If not, shipping is a flat rate of just $4.99.
