I like to take advantage of the sales and extra bucks deals at CVS and combine these deals with coupons for even more savings. When I enter the store, I scan my Extra Care card at the coupon kiosk and print my CVS coupons. I never know what will print. Usually 2-3 coupons which you can combine with manufacturers coupons to save even more. Sometimes I use these coupons and sometimes I don't. I am very careful not to buy anything I don't need.
Here is the breakdown of this trip:
2 Puffs Plus on sale for $1.00 each - 50 cent coupon = $1.50
1 Dawn dish soap on sale for $0.94 - 50 cent coupon = $0.44
1 Charmin Basic 12 pack on sale for $4.99 - 25 cent coupon = $4.74
2 Crest Pro-Health toothpastes on sale for $3.29 each - 2($1.00) coupons = $4.58
I also earned (2)$3.29 Extra bucks for this purchase so I have $6.58 in Extra Bucks to use towards my next purchase
2 Chef Boyardee Mini Ravioli (B1G1 Free) = $1.57 for 2
1 CVS Soft Cloth Diaper Wipes $2.77 - $1.00 CVS coupon = $1.77
I usually make my own diaper wipes, but these will be good for traveling. Here is the link for my homemade diaper wipes.
My subtotal was $14.60 and I used $4.00 in Extra Care bucks that I had from my last shopping trip so I only spent $10.60 for everything above and I have $6.58 in Extra Care Bucks to use on my next shopping trip.
