Welcome to Home Ec at Home. I am a former Family and Consumer Science teacher-turned stay at home mom. I taught high school for 10 years and loved it and now I am loving staying home with my children. I want to continue to share the world of home-making so I have created this site. This is a technical leap for me and I am learning as I go.
As a Family and Consumer Science teacher, I taught Family Financial Management. One way to stretch the family budget is to get the best deals and freebies so you can spend less. I love a great deal as does anyone else and will share them on my site so you can save money too.
I also I want to share my favorite recipes. These are all recipes that I have made and love. Whenever possible I will take pictures and include them with the recipes. I am very busy with young children, but will try to update the site frequently.
