My husband is really into board games.  He has hundreds of games and loves dice. He has been sharing his love of games with the boys who love playing with their daddy.  When I was given the opportunity to review something from Super Duper Publications, I knew we had to review the Dice Dude Combo.

This is a really fun set of dice shakers.  The boys loved playing with them.  They come as a set of two.  One of them has a twist off top which is nice because you can use your own game dice.  To play, you just pick up this Dice Dude and shake him.  The other one has a push and pop top which is really cool.  You can't change the dice in the push and pop design, but it adds an element of fun that the boys really enjoyed.
Each Dice Dude comes with his own dice.

Twist Off Dice Dude
  • Black die with white dots 1-6
  • White die with black dots 1-6
  • Yellow die with numbers 1-3
  • Multicolored die with numbers 1-6

"POP" Dice Dude
  • Push on his head to pop the dice.
  • One black and one white die dots 1-6

You can see the twist off Dice Dude in action in this quick video.
My oldest wanted to have family game time on Sunday with the new Dice Dude Combo so my husband made a simple game and played with the boys.
Here is a video of the boys playing a game with the "pop" Dice Dude.  I love how they are having fun while learning.  Notice how they are counting.
We have had such a good time playing with our new Dice Dude Combo.  It will be fun to use the Dice Dudes with many of our favorite games.

We love game night, so these would be great. I imagine they are good for little hands and make sure that the dice aren't lost during the game.
